About Aly

B.S. Kinesiology, CPT, CES, PPSC

Coming from a family of athletes, I was immersed in training from an early age and spent 10 years as a competitive volleyball player. At 12, I began working with a strength coach whose mentorship sparked my passion for training and introduced me to the science of movement and performance. Those early years gave me a strong foundation and set the stage for the career I’ve built today. Competing at a high level also came with challenges, including chronic back pain, which taught me firsthand the importance of smart training, recovery, and sustainable wellness practices. That experience continues to guide my philosophy and gives me a deeper level of empathy for clients navigating their own challenges.

My professional foundation was built at the University of Minnesota, where I earned my degree in kinesiology while beginning to work directly with clients. I advanced my expertise at StretchLab, training under one of the company’s national master trainers, and at Life Time’s flagship location in Minneapolis, where I developed and led the club’s assisted stretching program. These opportunities allowed me to work with a wide range of people, from athletes to professionals, while refining my ability to integrate strength, corrective exercise, recovery, and lifestyle strategies into one holistic approach.

Today, I work as a private wellness consultant in New York City with specializations in strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, and assisted stretching. Every program I design emphasizes movement quality, recovery, and sustainable habit change, with the goal of improving efficiency, preventing injuries, and building long-term vitality. My passion is helping people not just look stronger, but live healthier, happier, and more resilient lives.
